This gender analysis in Belize represents a key UNICEF programmatic output that will help to track and monitor progress made to advance the rights of women and girls in Belize. This gender analysis focused on identifying challenges, barriers and bottlenecks, and key gaps, coupled with entry points and recommendations for introducing gender integration and mainstreaming approaches, and informing policy dialogue and advocacy aimed at advancing gender equality and equity, and the acceleration of achievements on gender-relevant SDGs.
