National cricket star and former captain of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, Mushfiqur Rahim is considered to be one of the most accomplished batsmen in the world. He was appointed UNICEF National Ambassador in 2020. Since then, Mushfiq has played an active role in supporting marginalized communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading fundraising efforts among the Bangladesh cricket team. He has used his social media platform and popularity to support UNICEF Bangladesh’s efforts in immunization, newborn health and parenting, while calling for greater investment in children’s health, education, safety and nutrition in the national budget.
