Arifa Zaman Moushumi
Respected actress and director Arifa Zaman Moushumi has won numerous awards during her long career and is a familiar face on the big screen in Bangladesh. After years of acting success, she established Moushumi Welfare Foundation to improve the lives of women and children, and founded a primary school for children. Moushumi was appointed UNICEF National Ambassador in 2013. Since then, she has worked with UNICEF to promote child rights and create awareness around child and maternal health, child nutrition, birth registration, violence against children, and child immunization.
