A few days ago, the AI Hustle Lab successfully held its third bootcamp, bringing together a dynamic group of young innovators eager to explore the power of artificial intelligence and business. Organized in partnership with UNICEF Albania, Akademi.al, and TUMO Tirana, the program is designed to empower Albanian youth aged 13 to 18 with future-ready skills in AI, entrepreneurship, and creative problem-solving. Throughout an intensive two-day workshop, participants learned how to use AI tools and worked in teams to develop innovative startup ideas that address real-world challenges. The lab combined interactive learning with mentorship from industry experts and educators, encouraging students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and embrace technology as a tool for change. Each bootcamp culminates in team presentations, where participants pitch their AI-inspired but self-made business ideas, ranging from mental health tools to educational platforms, demonstrating not only technical knowledge but also social awareness and entrepreneurial spirit.

As Albania continues to invest in digital transformation, AI Hustle Lab serves as a powerful example of how targeted, youth-centered initiatives can help shape a more inclusive, innovative, and empowered future. The experiences shared by participants highlight the program’s meaningful impact on both personal growth and future ambitions. As Israjla Kërkuti from Qemal Stafa School explained, "We know that AI cannot replace critical thinking, creativity, or human sensitivity, but as someone with experience in coding and IT, the work that would have taken us about two months, we did in a very short time." Her reflection shows how the lab not only builds technical skills but transforms the way young people approach problem-solving, channeling creativity into real-world solutions like apps for new parents. Similarly, Abdullah Sula, 17, shared that “prompts have a lot of power... I learned how to use AI to the fullest and will use it toward my dream of becoming a landscape architect.” His words reflect how the lab opens new doors, helping students connect today’s learning to tomorrow’s goals. Together, these stories show that AI Hustle Lab isn’t just about understanding AI or creating businesses; it’s about empowering youth to think bigger, move faster, and build with purpose.

Group 1: ELURA Home-Care (2nd Place)

ELURA is a standout solution in the world of premium home maintenance, created by a team of school peers and long-time debate partners with a shared vision for practical luxury. ELURA reimagines second-home ownership through a subscription-based service tailored for individuals who spend extended time away from their properties, whether vacationing abroad, living seasonally, or managing multiple residences. Built around a network of vetted, experienced caretakers, ELURA offers a reliable, high-end service that caters specifically to affluent homeowners in Albania’s most sought-after, tourist-driven regions. As Albania’s tourism sector continues its upward trajectory, ELURA is perfectly positioned to scale alongside it, making an investment in the brand an indirect investment in the country’s future. Their offerings are simple, strategic, and scalable. The entry-level package at €99/month provides monthly cleanings and standard home check-ins, giving homeowners essential peace of mind from afar. The mid-tier package at €299/month includes twice-monthly cleanings, security services, and garden upkeep. The top-tier, €499/month plan delivers full-service care: pool maintenance, full-property upkeep, and 24/7 emergency availability. ELURA goes beyond maintaining a home; it's about preserving lifestyle, value, and peace of mind.

Group 2: AgriConnect

AgriConnect is revolutionizing Albania’s agricultural landscape by empowering local farmers and promoting healthier diets nationwide. In a market dominated by imported produce, many Albanian farmers struggle with limited market access, while consumers face poor-quality fruits and vegetables, often turning to processed commercial foods. AgriConnect addresses these issues through an innovative subscription service unlike anything currently available in Albania. Customers receive curated boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables sourced directly from their preferred local farms. Subscribers can customize their boxes based on dietary needs or choose from pre-designed health-focused packages. More than just a delivery service, AgriConnect creates a direct connection between consumers and producers through an integrated chat platform, building a community based on trust, transparency, and shared commitment to quality. Subscription tiers range from 2,500 Lek for a basic assortment, to 4,200 Lek for a larger selection with quicker delivery, and 6,800 Lek for a premium package featuring the widest variety and fastest shipping. AgriConnect delivers more than produce; it brings Albanian agriculture closer to the tables and hearts of its people.

Group 3: SafeZone (1st Place)

As bullying, especially online, reaches unprecedented levels in 2025, Albania’s schools are left with outdated and ineffective tools to address the problem. SafeZone offers a modern, tech-driven solution: an anonymous reporting platform where students can discreetly report bullying, harassment, or mental health concerns. Reports are sent directly to designated school staff, triggering real-time alerts that enable immediate intervention. Built on a subscription model, SafeZone offers schools tiered packages. The basic plan includes anonymous reporting and a dashboard, while premium packages include data-driven reports, trend analysis, and automated case tracking. These features allow schools not only to react to incidents but also to identify broader behavioral trends and create long-term prevention strategies. SafeZone plans to pilot the program in a private school, gathering impact data and user feedback before expanding to other private institutions, with the long-term goal of partnering with the Ministry of Education for national implementation. More than just a reporting tool, SafeZone is a mission-driven platform that empowers students, equips schools, and drives real cultural change.

Group 4: FinLit

In a country where financial instability continues to affect families across generations, FinLit steps in as Albania’s first subscription-based platform dedicated to improving financial literacy. With many citizens, young and old, lacking the tools to budget, save, or invest wisely, FinLit transforms financial education into an engaging and accessible experience. Through interactive lessons, games, quizzes, and step-by-step courses, FinLit delivers practical knowledge in a fun and modern format. While youth-focused, it offers content suitable for all ages and financial goals. FinLit operates on a freemium model: users can start with a robust free plan or upgrade to €3/month for expanded content, or €7/month for full access, including personalized learning paths and advanced tools. Looking ahead, FinLit hopes to partner with the Ministry of Education to introduce financial education into classrooms through their platform. More than an app, FinLit is a movement, equipping Albanians with the knowledge they need to thrive in today’s financial world..

Group 5: Neurova Tech

As workplace stress reaches record levels in Albania, mental health is no longer just a personal issue; it’s a business imperative. Neurova Tech delivers an innovative, science-backed solution for employee wellness through two flagship products: the Neurova Helmet and ZenPods. The Neurova Helmet is a wearable device that emits calming wave frequencies, helping users enter deep relaxation and improve mental clarity. ZenPods are high-tech wellness pods designed to lower stress and boost focus, backed by scientific research and measurable results. Priced at €2,500 per helmet and €10,000 per pod, Neurova targets high-end offices, corporate campuses, and universities. By integrating these tools into their workplace culture, organizations can promote productivity, reduce burnout, and support mental well-being at scale. Whether you buy the product itself or host a temporary relaxation room through Neurova, rest assured knowing your work life will never be the same again. Neurova isn’t just a product, it’s a new way to work better, feel better, and live better.

Group 6: CareConnect (3rd Place)

Despite being the smallest team, this innovative duo introduced an idea with the potential to transform senior living in Albania. With many elderly citizens living alone while their children reside abroad, families are often left concerned about the safety, health, and happiness of their loved ones. FaceTime and video calls are useless to most families who desire a direct means to provide care for their relatives. CareConnect offers a subscription-based solution connecting seniors with trusted, professional caregivers who provide weekly visits tailored to each individual’s needs. Depending on the plan, seniors receive care once, twice, or three times a week, ranging from healthcare support to help with daily tasks and emotional companionship. What sets CareConnect apart is its personalization. Families can choose caregivers based on language, experience, and preferences, ensuring comfort and consistency. Services are flexible, adapting to evolving needs over time. With Albania’s aging population and growing diaspora, CareConnect fills a critical gap, offering connection, compassion, and peace of mind across generations and borders.
