Japan joins UNICEF in reimagining a better world for every child

One year ago, the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, and the resulting health and economic crisis became a child rights crisis, with the potential to wipe out a decade of gains in key child rights indicators, especially in our region.

Thanks to the generosity of the Japanese people and the commitment of the Japanese Government, UNICEF has been able to alleviate the impacts of this unprecedented crisis and to provide assistance to vulnerable children and families affected by COVID-19.
