Since 29 September, multiple typhoons have hit Viet Nam and brought torrential rains, severe flooding, and deadly landslides in the northern and central regions, causing widespread destruction. Children and their families have lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods, and access to essential services.
UNICEF’s emergency response is focused on ensuring their access to clean water, nutritional and health assistance, protection, education, emergency cash aid, and psychosocial support.
