In Uganda, Christine is breaking barriers to become a nurse in future

Girls everywhere are turing 'I wish' into 'I will'. Alum Christine, 19 years old from Kaabong District in Karamoja sub-region shares her story. Not even a teenage pregnancy could deter her from achieving her dream of becoming a nurse in future. "I want to be a nurse. We have no nurse in our community. That is why I struggle to be a nurse so that I go and help them." 

On the International Day of the Girl Child 2020, we celebrate adolescent girls who are breaking barriers to achieve their dreams.
