The TRANSFORM training program is organised in a modular structure, mirroring an integrated social protection system composed of interconnected and interdependent components. The French-language training modules of TRANSFORM were introduced for the first time globally in Tunisia. The modules employed in Tunisia are outlined below.
WHAT IS TRANSFORM?
TRANSFORM is an innovative training program centered around the administration of national social protection foundations. Its primary objective is to develop the critical thinking and capacities of decision-makers and practitioners at both national and decentralized levels, with the aim of enhancing the design, efficiency, and effectiveness of social protection systems.
TRANSFORM not only seeks to provide advanced knowledge necessary to address the challenges faced by countries but also aims to encourage learners to take a leading role in transforming their national social protection systems.
WHY TRANSFORM?
Numerous training programs exist in the field of social protection; thus, a vast array of ideas, concepts, methods, and techniques are already available. However, institutions and individuals often face significant challenges in establishing universal and comprehensive social protection systems. In response to this complexity, a new approach to teaching and knowledge exchange is required. This approach is based on learners' ability to grasp complexity, demonstrate creativity, understand uniqueness and diversity, engage in change and transformation, and take ownership of it. These capabilities are crucial to generating the transformation that this training program aspires to achieve.
