Call for registration on United Nations Partner Portal (UNPP)

Interested implementing partners who may want to be considered for future partnerships with UNICEF

Background and context

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Food Programme (WFP), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), International Organisation for Migration (IOM), UN Secretariat, UN Women, Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Crisis Bureau, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and World Health Organisation (WHO) with operational support from United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) collaborate to deliver the United Nations Partner Portal (UNPP) to facilitate partnerships with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to deliver results in communities we serve. The UNPP is an online platform that provides CSOs (International NGOs, local NGOs, Community Based Organisations (CBOs) and Academic Institutions) with a simpler way to interact, enhance visibility to the United Nations (UN) and explore partnership opportunities with UN agencies. By registering on the portal, organisations can create profiles that will inform the UN agencies about what they do and how they can be contacted in case there are opportunities for partnerships now or in the future. Organisations will only be required to register once, and their respective profiles will be available to all UN agencies utilising the portal. Registered organisations will also be able to access online resources to enhance understanding of each UN agency’s partnership processes, view partnership opportunities and complete applications online. In emergencies, the portal will assist the UN to identify organisations already working with affected communities and supports the rapid mobilisation of partnerships to provide urgent lifesaving services.
