We are pleased to share the UNICEF Sierra Leone Quarterly Newsletter for April to June 2026. This edition highlights key milestones, including:
- Supporting the Government of Sierra Leone to explore innovative financing solutions that increase investment in education and expand learning opportunities for every child.
- Accelerating newborn and child survival through the launch of the China Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund project and continued investment in neonatal nursing and quality healthcare services.
- Strengthening transparency, accountability and evidence-based decision-making through the launch of the 2025 Open Budget Survey to promote greater investment in children.
- Advancing child health, nutrition and climate resilience through expanded nutrition interventions, maternal and newborn care, and efforts to ensure children have access to climate-resilient essential services.
