Highlights
To address the high burden of severe acute malnutrition (SAM) in the Philippines, nutrition sector partners in the country supported the development of protocols and policies to institutionalize SAM management within national and local health systems. This improves access to life-saving services for children diagnosed with SAM in emergency and non-emergency settings.
