Evaluation of the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP)

Highlights

This report presents the midline evaluation of the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP), an initiative led by the Department of Health and the Department of Social Welfare and Development with support from the World Bank. Conducted by UNICEF with its institutional contractor American Institutes for Research (AIR), the evaluation uses qualitative and quantitative evidence to assess PMNP's progress in strengthening nutrition governance, primary health care services, community-based interventions, and local financing mechanisms to address malnutrition. The findings provide actionable insights to inform programme adjustments, support effective implementation through the remainder of the project, and strengthen the evidence base for future multisectoral nutrition programming and scale-up efforts in the Philippines.
