UNICEF & Ang INK unveil limited-edition Christmas cards
MANILA, 3 November 2025 — Every UNICEF Christmas card sent is more than a holiday greeting; it’s a powerful act of hope, helping build brighter futures for children across the Philippines.
This timeless tradition has become a lifeline for vulnerable children. Every donation to UNICEF has supported the fulfilment of children’s rights and driving milestones like the recent passage of the Early Childhood Care and Development System Act. This landmark law, supported by UNICEF, ensures more young children receive the health nutrition and education services they need during their most critical years — helping avert the learning crisis and shaping a generation’s future.
When emergencies strike, funds from UNICEF can provide immediate relief to children in need. This year, UNICEF was able to provide much-needed assistance to children affected by Typhoon Opong and the Cebu earthquake. Essential items such as water kits, medicines, and ready-to-use therapeutic food for malnourished children were delivered, as well as school supplies and toys.
Consistent fundraising through initiatives like the Christmas Cards ensures UNICEF’s work in education, health, protection, climate resilience, and emergency response never stops, even in the toughest times.
This year, UNICEF is launching its 2025 edition of Christmas Cards with a goal to raise even more to advocate for every child’s right to a bright and protected future.
Following the success of their All-Occasion Cards Collection, UNICEF and Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK), the country’s premier collective of children’s illustrators, are expanding their collaboration for this year’s limited-edition Christmas Cards.
This collection features new designs curated specifically to capture the unique joy and tradition of the Filipino Christmas. The Ang INK artists’ personal childhood memories and aspirations for children are now woven into every Christmas design.
“We are deeply grateful for our continued collaboration with Ang INK. Beyond spreading holiday cheer, we hope to inspire more people to give back and help vulnerable children in the Philippines in the true spirit of Christmas, the season of giving,” said Maida Salcedo, UNICEF Philippines Officer-in-Charge for Private Sector Fundraising.
The Ang INK artists, who were once wide-eyed children themselves, hope that their artworks rekindle the joy and nostalgia of a Filipino Christmas while reminding everyone of the children who deserve to feel that same wonder today.
