Montenegro joined the Global Kids Online research network developed by the UNICEF Office of Research – Innocenti in collaboration with London School of Economics.

Using the methodology developed by LSE and Innocenti, quantitative (nationally representative) and qualitative research about children’s and parents’ online experiences was conducted in Montenegro in partnership with Ipsos. Additional data analysis was done in partnership with the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

The objective of the research is to support awareness raising, spreading of the digital literacy across the country and evidence based policy making that will ensure that children’s rights are safeguarded in an inclusive and participatory digital society.
