Out-of-School Children in Morocco
Who they are, where they are, and how can we reach them
Highlights
The 2014 Morocco country report on Out-of-school children, showed that even though since 2000, Morocco had made significant progress at every level of education, children with disabilities, poor children, children from rural areas and girls were still facing high risk of being excluded from school.
Poverty, leading children to child labour, poor school infrastructure, lack of qualified teachers especially in rural areas, and low quality of education pushed children away from education in Morocco.
