The Yalla Niqra is an interactive learning application and teaching tool to improve Arabic and English language reading skills of children aged 5 to 11. It also builds their life skills so they become better communicators, creative thinkers and problem solvers. The Yalla Niqra platform provides access to audio and e-books, interactive activities and educational games. It is a safe learning environment for children with data privacy secured. It is free of charge for all children, teachers and parents in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. It can be downloaded on a computer, smartphone and tablet. DEAL
DEAL (Digital Entrepreneurial Adolescents Leadership) is a platform that offers a virtual world that allows adolescents of age 13-17 to develop life skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making, cooperation, participation. It provides the opportunity to learn a programming language called LUA, which can be used to build Android mobile applications. The platform is free of charge for all adolescents in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. The application can be downloaded on a computer, smartphone and tablet. The Blue Dot: A Call for Submission of Artworks for Children in MENA on 7 themes
Schools are closed. You may feel bored, distressed, or alone at home. However, this doesn’t need to be so! The Blue Dot project is UNICEF’s open call to all children in MENA region to create art through different mediums, drawings, painting, collage, stories, poetry and music on 7 themes about hope, the power of children and a better future for our blue dot, the planet earth.
