Country guide: Helplines for violent situations against children and adolescents

If you need guidance and support, you can find the service available in this list by countries in the region

Cut the violence campaign logo in three colours

UNICEF is calling for efforts to identify all situations of violence against children. It is necessary to become aware of the situation and recognize cases of violence and break the cycle of violence trapping millions of children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Children and adolescents who experience violence are more likely than others to experiences other types of violence later in life or to act violently in the future.

Violent environments favour the development of early violente behaviour, which gets worse over time in an unending cycle of violence. We must cut the violence.

Violence is always violence. Nothing and no one justifies it.
