The HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine is the best way to protect your children against the consequences of this virus. It is recommended to vaccinate children and adolescents, mainly between 9 and 18 years old, so that they are protected throughout their lives.
The vaccination schedule may vary from country to country, so you can go to the nearest health center to get information and learn on the availability of the vaccine. The HPV vaccine is available in almost all countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and, in many cases, it is also administered in schools.
