All children learn in Paraguay

UNICEF Paraguay supports the government in guaranteeing access to quality, relevant and inclusive education for every child and adolescent, especially those from the most vulnerable populations.

We focus our advice on:

• Strengthening the education system’s capacity to develop innovative and scalable models to expand educational services from early childhood development through secondary education.
• Ensuring learning continuity and addressing educational exclusion by providing technical assistance to civil society organizations to ensure their territorial interventions prioritize children and adolescents who are out of school or at risk of dropping out.
• Advancing in the educational reform process, focusing on an inclusive and intercultural bilingual education model for indigenous populations, promoting universal learning design and mother tongue literacy to reduce student exclusion on the grounds of disability, diverse learning styles, race and ethnicity.
