Humanitarian Action for Children Appeal

Highlights

UNICEF’s Humanitarian Action for Children (HAC) appeal helps support our work as it provides conflict- and disaster-affected children with access to water, sanitation, nutrition, education, health and protection services. In 2022, UNICEF's HAC appeal total requirement is US$9.4 billion.

In Iraq, as part of the appeal, UNICEF is requesting US$ 52.2 million in 2022 to meet the critical and acute humanitarian needs of vulnerable children and families affected by a combination of humanitarian situations, including protracted crisis due to conflict, political instability and the COVID-19 situation.
