About
The guide “Leveraging U-Talent in the Public Employment Service (DYPA) Apprenticeship Vocational Schools: A Guide for Educators” was developed to support educators in effectively integrating U-Talent into the theoretical and hands-on instruction of Apprenticeship Vocational Training Programs.
The Guide approaches apprenticeship as a dynamic environment for developing knowledge, skills, and professional identity, in which technical competencies are combined with cross-cutting and transferable skills. It focuses on the four thematic areas of U-Talent: green skills, entrepreneurial skills, career orientation, and 21st-century skills and well-being. It highlights the importance of communication, collaboration, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, self-awareness, and emotional management for the professional and personal development of young people. At the same time, it offers practical guidance on how to make the most of these activities through individual work, collaborative approaches, role-playing, brainstorming, small projects, and reflection. It presents examples of how to adapt the material to different disciplines, linking skills to authentic professional situations and specific learning objectives.
The guide is available in Greek here.
