Accra, Ghana, 31 December 2025 – UNICEF has unveiled its new podcast series, "A Seat at the Table," emphasizing the critical need for young people and children to actively participate in decisions shaping their lives. The title embodies more than symbolism; it represents being seen, heard, and empowered to influence outcomes. As the initiative underscores, "young people and children are not just the future - they are the present," positioning them as vital contributors today.

The podcast spotlights trailblazers who forged their own paths amid obstacles, now using their platforms to inspire others. Through candid conversations, it features voices from entertainment, media, education, development, government, and beyond, sharing authentic journeys - including triumphs, setbacks, lessons learned, topical issues, and the resilience required to succeed. By centering young listeners in these narratives, the series aims to demonstrate what's possible and motivate them to claim their own influence.

This platform drives inspiration and action, empowering youth and children to secure their space at decision-making tables and actively shape their futures. “A Seat at the Table” airs on UNICEF Ghana’s YouTube platform. The series invites young Ghanaians to tune in, gain fresh insights, and start building their own paths to influence.
