Social Policy and Child Rights Monitoring

Supporting enactment of socially inclusive policies for children

Programme Overview

We provide technical support and advice to the Government on how to enact socially inclusive policies for children. We help to make sure that programmes and policies at national and subnational levels cover the most vulnerable and socially excluded families with stronger social safety nets and measures to reduce poverty and protect children.

We conduct research and collect and analyze data on the situation of vulnerable children and their families to help the Government monitoring and ensuring that its policies are working. We also support the Government and other partners to monitor and evaluate their programmes, identify better policy options, analyze budgets and increase social sector spending and its effectiveness for children.
