Highlights

As global challenges intensify and funding becomes more constrained, the children most in need are at growing risk of being left behind.

At the same time, cuts to Official Development Assistance (ODA) and shifting investment priorities threaten critical support for children’s rights. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the EU Strategy on the Rights of the Child underscore governments’ commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to survive, learn, grow, and thrive-commitments that must not be weakened in the face of today’s challenges.
