Revenue performance in the West Nile Sub-region of Uganda

This brief therefore explores the performance of revenue flows to the West Nile Sub-Region, focusing on 8 districts, namely Adjumani, Arua, Koboko, Maracha, Moyo, Nebbi, Pakwach and Zombo. The districts are all rural, and have complete information available publicly, in terms of resource plans, approved revenues and performance of each revenue head, for the 2 years 2019/2020 and 2020/21. The brief concludes by making some recommendations on ways to improve local revenues in the Sub-Region.
