Continuity of Essential Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Services during COVID 19
Perspectives from Clients & Frontline Health Workers in Kenya, Malawi and Mozambique
About
This mixed-methods study was conducted to better understand how MNCH services were affected during the 2020-2021 period of the Covid-19 pandemic in three countries in Eastern and Southern Africa: Kenya, Malawi and Mozambique. The study explored demand, access and experience of MNCAH services during the 2020/ 2021 Covid-19 periods from the perspectives of clients and frontline health workers. While much quantitative data have been collected to assess health service utilization trends, this study mostly presents a more qualitative perspective.
