COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Survey Report 2021

A survey commissioned by UNICEF and funded by USAID

How can COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy be challenged? Why are some people so reluctant to get vaccinated and can anything be done to change their minds? These are some of the key questions tackled in this groundbreaking study on vaccine hesitancy across six countries. Well over 5,000 people were surveyed in Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago to gauge their views.

Commissioned by UNICEF, funded by USAID and conducted by the Caribbean Development Research Services Inc. (CADRES), this wide-ranging study adds richness and complexity to our understanding of vaccine hesitancy and how effective programmes and interventions can be developed and implemented to help find a path out of a devastating pandemic.
