RITEC Overview Infographic Posters
Designing for children’s well-being in digital play
Highlights
The RITEC overview infographic posters are part of the RITEC Design Toolbox (RDT), which provides online gaming design teams with practical tools for incorporating support for children’s well-being into their design process.
Developed with inputs from a wide variety of industry stakeholders and experts, the goal of these posters is to provide inspiration as well as a practical visual aid for design teams during their work.
The “RITEC-8 Framework” poster presents an overview of the eight dimensions of children’s well-being in digital play: safety and security; diversity, equity and inclusion; autonomy; emotions; competence; relationships; creativity; and identities.
This poster can be printed on an A4 sized page and hung in workspaces at home or in the office, to help create a shared vocabulary and understanding of deigning for well-being.
The “RITEC Play World” poster introduces an imaginary world of children’s play, with many details based on the RITEC research: Illustrations and quotes representing children who participated in our research, and design guidelines for using the RITEC-8 framework.
This poster can be printed on one A3 page or three separate A4 pages (stitched together).
