Building together on peace and security
The United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) was established by the UN Secretary-General to help prevent countries emerging from conflict from relapsing, providing for sustained engagement to support post-conflict stabilisation. In cooperation with other UN agencies such as UNDP, PBF supports UNICEF programmes that promote peaceful coexistence and conflict resolution, youth participation in public life, and the economic benefits of local and international cooperation.
