The Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) was established by the UN General Assembly to ensure that urgently needed humanitarian assistance reaches people in need whenever and wherever crises strike. In 2020, CERF funds will provide life-saving nutrition, child protection, and WASH support in the Lake Chad and surrounding regions.
