ECHO (Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations)

The Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Civil Aid Operations provides humanitarian emergency and disaster response on behalf of the European Union. ECHO is one of the main partners to UNICEF in humanitarian response. ECHO is the biggest partner to UNICEF for Nutrition, and we work together also on WASH, Epidemics, Protection, Education, contingency planning and disaster risk reduction.
