Highlights
Merankabandi is a social protection net and support project for Burundi's most vulnerable rural households. It comprises a cash transferm program as well as complementary training activities to generate behavioral change in beneficiary households.
Such social safety nets aim to provide a social protection base for the most vulnerable and to protect families from the consequences of economic shocks, natural disasters and other crises.
