The Situation Analysis of Children with Disabilities in Belize serves as a critical advocacy document that brings visibility to the experiences, rights, and needs of children with disabilities throughout the country. Grounded in available evidence and informed by national and international commitments to children's rights, the SitAn identifies key challenges that limit inclusion and equal opportunities while highlighting promising practices and areas for action.  UNICEF Belize will use this document to advocate for stronger policies, increased investment, and coordinated efforts to remove barriers and promote the full participation of children with disabilities in all aspects of society. By placing the voices and rights of these children at the center of decision-making, the SitAn supports a more inclusive and equitable future for Belize.
