In UNICEF’s Building Resilience in the Sahel (BRS) Programme, local governance and Participatory and Integrated Community-Based Approaches (ACPi) are central to strengthening community resilience. This case study aims to inform the implementation of the second outcome of the BRS Programme, which seeks to: " Enhance local governance, strengthened culture of inclusive social dialogue, and reinforced community ownership and engagement in local social development processes and humanitarian response."
