Youth Advocates
.
According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and multiple other UNICEF and United Nations statements, children and young people have a right to be heard and to participate in processes that affect them. Around the world, they already engage in a wide array of civic actions, such as joining marches, organizing events, and taking part in digital advocacy. The central premise of the Youth Advocates Programme is that by effectively elevating the voices and actions of children and young people, decision-makers will act in support of every child.
