Highlights

UNICEF Pakistan’s 2024 Annual Report highlights how we continued to advance the rights and wellbeing of children and women across the country, despite persistent challenges.

Together with the support of the government, our donors and our partners, we achieved the following key results:

• 45 million children vaccinated against polio
• 2 million children benefited from integrated management of neonatal and childhood illnesses
• 1.8 million people received basic water services
• 900,000 children reached through formal and non-formal education, foundational learning and alternative learning opportunities
• 600,000 births registered in health facilities
• 565,000 children were treated for severe acute malnutrition
• 13,000 youth received vocational training
• 2,000 youth engaged in climate advocacy for COP 29
