A situation analysis of Syrian children’s access to education in Syria and five host countries

Highlights

Conducted in 2015, this study sought to provide a better understanding of the learning programmes available for Syrian children through a broad situation analysis of the education of Syrian children inside Syria, as well as Syrian refugee children in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt. The report of the study findings draws attention to the challenges for children, families and education providers, with a particular focus on the curricula provided in different countries, and related issues of accreditation and certification.
