Highlights

A study by UNICEF Jamaica, in collaboration with the Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CAPRI), gives insight on the impact of COVID-19 on households across the island, including detrimental effects on the health, education and protection of children. A representative survey of 505 households with at least one child was conducted between June 25 and July 13, 2020. The survey instrument focussed on questions related to household demographics, education, health, safety online and in the home, COVID coping strategies, and social protection.
