UNICEF Greece, in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Social Solidarity and Fight Against Poverty of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the support of Solidarity Now and the Roma Women's Association of Dendropotamos, speaks with Marianna, from the Roma community of Dendropotamos, who explains her choice to graduate from school, with the support of her family.
At the same time, Marianna highlights the multiple challenges and difficulties which Roma women and girls have to face, both in society as well as within their community, with regard to education and employment.
