Office for International Development Cooperation
Office for Government Policy Coordination/Prime Minister’s Secretariat” to “Promoting multilateralism in Korea’s ODA policies
The Prime Minister’s Office includes an Office for Government Policy Coordination, which in turn oversees an Office for International Development. This latter office helps to formulate and coordinate the government’s Official Development Assistance policies. A Committee for International Development Cooperation holds annual meetings chaired by the Prime Minister to establish the government’s annual ODA plan. UNICEF engages with staff of the Office for International Development Cooperation to understand current ODA priorities and to reinforce the important role of multilateral organizations like UNICEF to help deliver on Korea’s ODA commitments.
