National Launch of the UN Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty in Cam
Highlights
The National Launch of the United Nations Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty in Cambodia was held on 22 April 2021 through an online platform, attended by children and youth, government officials, civil society organizations, United Nations agencies, academia, development partners, and members of the public in Cambodia and abroad.
The National Launch provided an opportunity to hear about the Global Study's main findings from the Independent Expert who led the Study, the voices of Cambodian children deprived of liberty, the experiences of local organizations working in this field, and the renewed commitment of the government.
The outcome report contains information about the preparations for the National Launch, along with a summary of the discussions held during the event and an identification of the main next steps.
