Cost–benefit analysis of investments in early childhood in Burundi

Highlights
This policy brief provides a summary of a detailed investment case of early childhood development in Burundi. Through a cost–benefit analysis, this study found that scaling up early childhood development interventions would be highly cost-effective and an excellent area for investment. Further, it provided a high-level fiscal space analysis to support the financing of these packages. This evidence is intended to be used to support advocacy efforts and decisionmaking in an effort to expand the coverage of interventions essential to the development and rights realization of Burundi’s children
