Scam Alert: Fake UNICEF Posts Circulating
UNICEF Afghanistan is warning the public about an increase in fraudulent social media posts and messages circulating online, particularly through WhatsApp groups and other digital platforms.
These messages falsely advertise internship opportunities and English language programmes, sometimes claiming to offer free internet bundles or other incentives. These announcements are fraudulent and are not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by UNICEF.
UNICEF urges the public to exercise caution and to verify information through UNICEF Afghanistan’s official website and social media channels. Do not share personal information, submit documents, make payments or send money to individuals or organizations claiming to represent UNICEF through unofficial channels.
