“More than 93 thousand students sat for the National Exams in more than 895 centres across 14 Yemeni governorates in Yemen,” says Dr. Ali Al-Abab, The Vice Minister of Education in Aden.
Grade 12 National Exams are critical in determining students’ future. The exams are important because they measure the level of students after finishing their secondary education. After passing the National Exams, students become qualified to enroll in their preferred university.
“We received funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre to conduct this very important activity of the education and support the Ministry of Education and its local governorate offices in setting up the exam centres, buying the printers to print the exam sheets, and providing the operational support to run this whole activity and to be able to run the control room where the exams are being monitored and checked,” says Shafeeq UR-Rehman, Director of UNICEF office in Aden.
“Thanks to all parents who encourage their children to study, work hard, and stay away from cheating to build a generation that can secure a brighter future for our country,” says Dr. Ali Al-Abab, The Vice Minister of Education.
“The Higher Committee for Examinations finished all preparations to facilitate the examination process and overcome any challenges students face,” says Dr. Ali Al-Abab, The Vice Minister of Education.
