Emergency Cash Transfer Project

Cash transfers are making a difference in the lives of vulnerable families ravaged by conflict in Yemen.

The Emergency Cash Transfer Project implemented by UNICEF in Yemen aims at supporting vulnerable families and individuals across all Yemen districts and governorates with unconditional cash assistance in response to the socio-economic crisis. The project is supported with funds from the World Bank through the International Development Association.

Over 1.33 million people have received emergency cash transfers during the first payment cycle of the Emergency Cash Transfer Project, impacting 8.66 million people.
