With immunization one of the most cost-effective public health interventions, UNICEF is helping Viet Nam protect children from illness and disability.
In 2014, Viet Nam reported more than 3500 confirmed measles infections, a single hospital in Hanoi-the National Pediatric Hospital (NHP)-treated as many as 1 280 measles patients, of which at least 100 cases were fatal.
