20 November 2009 whorl community celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child –the key legally binding international document affirming human rights for all children. The Convention declares the following four core principles: non-discrimination; devotion to the best interests of the child; the right to life, survival and development; and respect for the views of the child.
