Young people come together to boost local communities
The social innovation programme known as UPSHIFT came to Ukraine’s Lvivska region in April 2023. Since then, 155 young people, including 45 boys and 110 girls, have attended special training sessions where, with the support of individual experienced mentors, they developed 35 projects to better their communities. She and her team wanted to activate peers and create a caring people community. They joined UPSHIFT to share their passion with others and to engage young people in urban development.
