Child Poverty and Deprivation in Refugee-Hosting Areas: Evidence from Uganda

Uganda is home to over 1,460,000 refugees from South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi and Somalia. The increasing influx of refugees has put a strain on the already existing resources and services in the refugee-hosting districts. The Study aimed at assessing child poverty, deprivation and social service delivery among refugees and host communities in selected districts of Arua, Yumbe, Adjumani, Kamwenge, Isingiro and Kampala.  Download PDF
