Highlights

Situation Overview
• The findings from the recent mass screening reveal that acute malnutrition levels remain critical (25 per cent in Kaabong District and 14 per cent in Moroto District), with a high percentage of the eligible children not being enrolled into therapeutic care.
• Mass screening has improved the enrolment of malnourished children into therapeutic care. A scale up for mass screening and referral is urgently required to the rest of the districts in order to reverse the effects of increased malnutrition levels.
